Broadway Across America is thrilled to announce the 2008-2009 Cincinnati season sponsored by Fifth Third Bank. Season tickets are now on sale and can be purchased online at BroadwayAcrossAmerica.com or by calling the Broadway Across America toll-free Cincinnati Season Ticket Hotline at 800-294-1816. Select seats in person at the Broadway Across America Cincinnati Box Office in the Mercantile Center downtown at 120 East Fourth Street, Monday – Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.

A lavish new production of THE WIZARD OF OZ will open the season and the entire family can enjoy the beloved songs from the 1939 MGM film along with breathtaking special effects and dazzling choreography. The one that you want is back! Direct from Broadway, a brand new production of GREASE will play Cincinnati and audiences can watch Danny and Sandy fall in love to the tune of their favorite songs: Summer Nights and Greased Lightnin’ as well as additional songs from the hit movie: Grease, Hopelessly Devoted To You and You’re The One That I Want. FROST/NIXON will make its Cincinnati premiere in February. The play tackles the question: How did David Frost, a famous British talk show host with a playboy reputation, elicit the apology that the rest of the world was waiting to hear from former President Richard Nixon? Stage and screen star Stacy Keach stars as Richard Nixon and leads a cast of ten in this fast-paced new play written by Peter Morgan writer of The Last King of Scotland, The Other Boleyn Girl and The Queen. CIRQUE DREAMS JUNGLE FANTASY, an explosion of athleticism, theatre and imagination is great for the entire family and will exhilarate Cincinnati audiences. Direct from Broadway, this production features an international cast of 25 soaring aerialists, spine-bending contortionists, acrobats and musicians.

AVENUE Q is finally making its way to the Aronoff Center! This Tony Award winner is about trying to make it in New York City with big dreams and a tiny bank account. Recommended for mature audiences, the show features a cast of people and puppets who tell the story in a smart, risqué and downright entertaining way. A CHORUS LINE, the longest-running American Broadway musical will close the 08/09 season. Cincinnati will meet the new generation of Broadway’s best in this musical for everyone who’s ever had a dream and put it all on the line.

Ticket broker websites and the reselling of event tickets online are major concerns for us here at Broadway Across America.  Many fraudulent companies are setting up shop on the internet making it very easy for you, our valued guests, to find alternative online sources to purchase your theatre tickets.  Unfortunately, you could wind up paying a premium for bogus tickets and we would have little recourse in being able to help.

Don’t take chances by purchasing theatre tickets from just any website. Make your first click BroadwayAcrossAmerica.com to reach authorized online ticket sellers for all Broadway Across America events.
