Columbus' most eagerly awaited stage production, Disney's THE LION KING, will return to the Ohio Theatre (39 E. State Street) on August 29, 2008 for a limited engagement of 5 weeks through September 28, 2008 as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway Across America-Columbus 07/08 season.

In Columbus THE LION KING will play August 29 through September 28: performances are Tuesday through Friday evenings at 8pm, Saturdays at 2pm and 8pm and Sundays at 1pm and 6:30pm. An additional matinee performance is scheduled for Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 2pm. Ticket prices range from $20.00 to $76.50. Special VIP tickets, priced at $127.50, are available for most performances, and include prime seat locations and vouchers for commemorative merchandise, redeemable at the show.
