Louisville, KY (March 9, 2008) – PNC Broadway Across America-Louisville announces today the 2008/09 season starring the Louisville premiere of WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, as the highlight of the 2008-09
season. WICKED is the story of two girls who grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good
Witch, making it the most spellbinding new musical in years! This blockbuster season will also include OPRAH WINFREY

For those theatre lovers on a budget, the “Cloud Club” offers our five-show package with COMPLETE subscription
benefits at bargain prices starting at: $127 for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings and $152 for Friday
and Saturday evenings and Saturday and Sunday Matinees.
Season ticket holders are encouraged to consider an optional $5 per season ticket package contribution. Proceeds support
the Louisville Theatrical Association’s “Broadway for Kids Education Program” providing tickets for students of all
ages and free workshops led by Broadway professionals for Kentuckiana schools and the local community. Additional
support for the education program is provided by the Fund for the Arts.
Performance times are Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 pm, Friday at 8 pm, Saturday at 2:00 & 8:00 pm, and Sunday
at 1:00 & 6:30 pm. An audio described performance for the visually impaired is held on Saturday matinee performances
and a captioned performance for the hearing impaired is available for the Saturday evening presentation. These services,
as well as accessible seating needs, should be requested when purchasing season tickets.
