Orpheum Theatre Minneapolis Lion King Tickets, Jersey Boys Tickets – Broadway Across America

TICKETS FOR JERSEY BOYS ON SALE FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 2 - 10/24/2007
Jersey Boys, the sensational blockbuster featuring the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, makes its Twin Cities premiere at the Orpheum Theatre for a five week engagement March 19–April 20, 2008. Individual tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, Nov. 2, 2007 at 9 a.m. From 9 to 10 a.m., tickets will only be available at the State Theatre Box Office. Starting at 10 a.m., tickets will be available at all other outlets. The show is presented by Hennepin Theatre Trust as part of its 2007-08 M&I Bank Broadway Across America-Minneapolis season. “The most exciting musical Broadway has seen in years!” says Chris Jones of the Chicago Tribune.

Jersey Boys is the compelling story of Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. It tells how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide–all before they were thirty. Directed by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff, Jersey Boys won four 2006 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and continues to set new weekly box office records at the August Wilson Theatre, where it has remained among the top five grossing shows in New York since opening in Nov. 2005. It is also on a U.S. tour, with Minneapolis joining a select group of cities including Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle in hosting this phenomenal production. “A musical bursting with energy, nostalgia and pop music bliss!” raves the Oakland Tribune. Jersey Boys is written by Academy Award winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.
