About the Theater
The Warner Theatre, a Live Nation venue, is located at 513 13th Street, N.W. in the heart of downtown Washington, D.C.’s vibrant Pennsylvania Quarter arts district. The historic 1,847 seat theatre has been one of the city’s most treasured live entertainment venues since 1924. Following an extensive three-year restoration, the theatre reopened in 1992 and continued its legacy of hosting the very finest performers from around the world. WARNER THEATRE DIRECTIONS
The Warner Theatre is located in downtown Washington, on 13th Street, between E and F Streets, N.W. at 513 13th Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20004 —six blocks west of the MCI Center, three blocks east of the White House, and two blocks north of the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center.
Downtown Washington is the vibrant home of a multitude of arts and entertainment venues, attracting thousands of visitors every day. Traffic and parking availability are often unpredictable. Please keep this in mind when planning your visit.
BY METRO The theatre is one block from the Metro Center stop on the Red, Orange and Blue lines. Take the 12th and F Street exit (follow signs toward the sales office). At the top of the escalator proceed straight ahead (West) on F Street toward 13th Street. Turn left at the corner at 13th Street. The theatre entrance is halfway down the block on your left.
From MARYLAND AND POINTS NORTH Take I- 95 South. At the Capital Beltway (I-495) interchange, stay on I- 95 South towards Richmond and points east. Take exit 22 onto the Baltimore-Washington Parkway towards Washington. Take the exit that bears right for 50 West/Washington. This road becomes New York Avenue. Follow New York Avenue to 7th Street NW (from I-95, exit 22, to 7th Street is approximately 10.5 miles). Turn left onto 7th Street. About 6 blocks down is E Street. Turn right onto E Street. Six blocks over is 13th Street. Take right onto 13th Street. The Theatre entrance is on the right. From SPRINGFIELD AND POINTS SOUTH (and Route 395) Take Route 95 North to Route 395 North. Follow Route 395 to the 12th Street, NW exit. Stay in left lane on exit and follow to 12th Street. Follow 12th Street to E Street. Turn left onto E Street. One block over is 13th Street. Turn right onto 13th Street. The Theatre entrance is on the right. From BALTIMORE / ROUTE 295 Take the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (Route 295) towards Washington. Take the exit that bears right for 50 West/Washington. This road becomes New York Avenue. Follow New York Avenue to 7th Street NW Turn left onto 7th Street (this is approximately 10.5 miles from I-95). About six blocks down is E Street. Turn right onto E Street. From SOUTH ARLINGTON AND ALEXANDRIA (Route 1 and the 14th Street Bridge) Take Route 1 North to 14th Street exit. Follow 14th Street to F Street, NW Turn right onto F Street. From ANNAPOLIS AND THE EASTERN SHORE (and Route 50) Take Route 50 West towards Washington. Follow Route 50, which turns into New York Avenue for about 9.5 miles from the Beltway/Rte. 50 interchange. Follow New York Avenue into Northwest Washington to 7th Street NW Turn left onto 7th Street. About six blocks down is E Street. Turn right onto E Street. Six blocks over is 13th Street. From UPPER MARLBORO, ANDREWS AIR FORCE BASE (and Suitland Parkway) Take Suitland Parkway West to Route 395. On Route 395 follow signs to Maine Avenue and Richmond/Downtown exit. Take 12th Street/Downtown exit. Follow 12th Street to E Street. Turn left onto E Street. One block over is 13th Street. Turn right onto 13th Street. The Theatre entrance is on the right. From FREDERICK, GAITHERSBURG, POINTS WEST (and Route 270) Take Route 270 South. At the Beltway (Route 495) follow the signs to Northern Virginia. After crossing the bridge, follow signs to George Washington Parkway. Take George Washington Parkway to the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge. Immediately after crossing bridge, follow signs to Constitution Avenue. Follow Constitution Avenue to 12th Street. Turn left onto 12th Street. A few blocks up is E Street. Turn left onto E Street. One block over is 13th Street. Turn right onto 13th Street. The Theatre entrance is on the right. From CONNECTICUT AVENUE or 16th STREET Drive south to H Street, NW (or to K Street, if on 16th Street). Turn left. A few blocks over is 13th Street. Turn right onto 13th Street. From FAIRFAX, NORTHERN VIRGINIA SUBURBS (and Route 66) Take Route 66 East toward Washington. After crossing the Roosevelt Bridge, take left lane exit to E Street. Stay on E Street past the White House and onto Pennsylvania Avenue to 13th Street. Take left onto 13th Street. The Theatre is 1 block up on the right.
From GEORGETOWN and KEY BRIDGE Take M Street eastbound. M Street turns into Pennsylvania Avenue at the edge of Georgetown. Stay on Pennsylvania Avenue to 17th Street. Turn left onto 17th Street for one block. Turn right onto H Street. A few blocks over is 13th Street. Turn right onto 13th Street. The Theatre is a few blocks down, between F and E Streets. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, The Warner Theatre is dedicated to providing persons with disabilities the necessary measures to allow for a comfortable and enjoyable theatrical experience.
Entrance The entrance to the Box Office and the Theatre is on 13th Street, between E and F Streets and is accessed by a slight ramp or 2-3 steps. Accessible street curbs are at the corners of both E and F Streets. There are no steps or large inclines once inside the Theatre to the orchestra level. There is no elevator or escalator.
Seating for Persons with Mobility Impairments Seating is available in the center rear orchestra. Tickets are priced proportionately based on all price levels for each performance. The seating area is made up of movable cushioned chairs with armrests. Tickets for this section are not available to the general public initially, but will be released to the general public when no two adjacent seats are available in the given price level. This section is general admission and seating is based on a first-come, first-served basis. The Theatre does not oversell this section. These tickets are available only through the Box Office. Seating with Movable Armrests The following are aisle seats in the orchestra, mid-balcony, and upper balcony available with movable armrests.
- Orchestra - Left: H17, K1, M19, O1, S19, Y19
- Orchestra - Right: H18, K2, O2, S20, Y20
- Mid-Balcony: EE101, BB25, FF1, BB2, BB26
- Upper Balcony: OO23, NN2, PP24
These tickets are available through regular ticket purchasing means (In-person at the Box Office and TicketMaster Ticket Centers, and via TicketMaster PhoneCharge).
Seating for Persons with Visual Impairments A limited number of tickets in the front side orchestra are available for purchase by patrons with visual impairments. Valid certification from an appropriate physician or medical facility may be required. These tickets are available only through the Box Office and will be released for sale to the general public ten days prior to the performance or when no two adjacent seats are available for public sale in that price level, whichever occurs first. Please refer to Accessible Ticket Purchasing Information.
Sign-Interpreted Services The Theatre can arrange for sign-interpreted performances upon request. Patrons should contact the Box Office no later than ten days prior to the performance so that proper arrangements may be made. Sign interpretation of the designated performance will be arranged in all instances in which a request for a signed performance and a purchase of a ticket(s) for that performance results. For certain engagements, a signed performance will be designated in advance. If a request for an interpreted performance is received later than ten days prior to the performance, the Theatre shall make reasonable efforts to provide interpreter service. The quality of the interpretation depends on adequate preparation time, so earlier notice is encouraged. Interpretation shall be provided with no additional cost to the customer requesting the service. Seats are held in the front side orchestra for patrons wishing to purchase seats close to interpreter. These tickets are available only through the Box Office and will be released for sale to the general public ten days prior to the performance or when no two adjacent seats are available for public sale.
Assistive Listening Devices Listening devices for the hearing impaired are available for all performances to assist with amplification and clarity. A radio-transmitted receiver and lightweight headset that amplifies the sound on stage is used for those with low to moderate hearing loss who may or may not use a hearing aid (Neck loops are available for patrons who use hearing aid devices.). This device can be used in all sections of the Theatre. Use of a listening device is complimentary. A driver's license, passport, or major credit card is required as deposit. The devices are available by contacting an usher upon entering the Theatre.
Large Print Programs Arrangements may be made for a large print program for any production that offers a standard complimentary program. Please call the Box Office, (202) 783-4000 at least one week prior to the performance.
Restrooms Accessible restrooms are found on the main lobby level and are open during all performances and whenever the lobbies are open. A water fountain is available nearby and our performance staff is always available to assist with further directions.
Parking The Theatre does not operate any parking facility. Metered spaces (free in the evening and on Saturdays/Sundays/Holidays) are located on 13th Street and all adjacent streets, in addition to numerous parking garages in the surrounding area.
Pay Telephone An accessible volume controlled touch-tone pay telephone is located in the Theatre's outer lobby, across from the Box Office.
Accessible Ticket Purchasing Information
Box Office Tickets for patrons requiring accessible seating in wheelchair, sign-interpreted and visually-impaired areas are available only through The Warner Theatre Box Office. Valid certifications from an appropriate physician or medical facility may be required.
Hours Monday thru Friday 10am - 4pm Saturday 12noon - 3pm
On performance days, the Box Office is open two hours prior to showtime and will remain open until 1/2 hour after the scheduled showtime. The Box Office is wheelchair accessible for in-person ticket purchases.
Tickets for accessible seats may be purchased by phone with a VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover card during regular Box Office hours by calling (202) 783-4000, pressing 1 and then pressing 8. All sales are final. Tickets must be purchased; there are no seat reservations. Patrons using TDD/TTY who need information or wish to purchase tickets may contact the Theatre via DC Relay Service at (202) 855-1234. Tickets ordered by phone will be held at the Box Office and may be picked-up prior to performance time at the will-call window. There is no added charge for tickets purchased through the Box Office.
All tickets are nonrefundable and cannot be exchanged or replaced.
Information regarding particular needs of individual patrons is very important to us. If it is desired or necessary, patrons may advise us of type of impairment, the size of a wheelchair (if applicable), preference to use our theatre seats or remaining in own chair, etc. Our Accessibility Services Coordinator will pass this information on to our performance staff to help us better prepare.
